Just a quick one tonight... Pic from Day 29....Rhea working on a picture on her Nammy's sidewalk.  Gonna have to get this girl in art classes this summer Pic from Day 30....Rhea loves to check the mail, just thought that it is important to include the house the my girls are growing up in.  Oh, and here is the finished product on the pink chair I painted---I love it and how girly it is..... (little Miss M is pretty cute too) That's it----now to catch some zzzzzzzzz's

I'm getting crafty!!!

We had a super busy so...so no post for me Tuesday-Friday.  We will probably have a few weeks like that coming up now that the Mr. is starting his busy season.  Some nights I'm just too tired after the girls go to bed to pick up this computer.   Anyway....Here are a few pics from this week.  Skipped Thursday night because I was shooting a newborn session and skipped Friday night because I was worn out!  But I added an extra picture for Saturday and as long as I have 30 for my book I"m good.  Shooting a pic a day takes discipline--and some nights, that's totally out the window.  Did I mention the Mr. is about sick of me always having my camera in hand. Day 24....it looks like spring is almost here....we are really loving this warmer weather....So ready for spring and summer. Day 25.....one night per week we go out to dinner.  We try to cook all the other nights but some nights its something quick and easy.  This was an "out to dinner night".  Rheagan has

My Crazy Life...Day 23

Image
Quick post tonight.... I'm worn out!!!! 1.  I worked out (go me, go me) 2. Made Dinner 3.  Rheagan had a major meltdown--was sent to bed early, told me I was mean, told me I hurt her feelings and the I made her heart hurt, told Clutch she just needed him to hold her...because she didn't get enough time with him today.......SERIOUSLY, this girl knows how to work us!!!!  Today, being a mom SUCKS!  It was a 2 glass of wine kinda night... 4.  I did upload my session from this weekend and post a sneak peek. 5.  I'm almost caught up on editing sessions from the past 2 weeks. 6.  I caught up on American Idol while I was working. I'de say, it was a productive night. Day 23.....Ryane at school.   This girl loves her school and they love her.   Now, I hate that she goes to "school" instead of staying with family but I can say that I couldn't be happier with where she is.  It's not a fancy place, the building isn't brand new, the staff isn't

Catchin' Up and Lovin' these pics!!!

So last week was crazy....this week is going to be totally nuts too.  Basketball game on Tuesday, Gymnastics private lesson on wednesday, gymnastics on thursday and shooting a newborn session, Friday shooting a senior session and I will probably be ready to go to bed by 6 o'clock.  WHAT A WEEK!   My goals for this week are simple 1.  work out 3 times this week instead of just 2. 2.  finish the girls chore charts so we can start them next week. 3.  plan my Easter mini sessions--I'm thinking about doing sessions with real bunnies. So here are the pics since last Thursday... Thursday Night...Day 19---not a picture of my girls but a picture of all their STUFF!   In an attempt to keep myself organized I set out the girl's bags, clothes, shoes, and hair bows the night before.  Mornings are still super crazy but this is how my kitchen counter looks everynight.  Having girls is a lot of fun but man they have a lot of stuff. Day 20...Friday Night... is playtime.  We p

Not Gonna Lie....Day 16, and 18

Image
ok peeps, I'm not gonna lie....30 pics in 30 days...super hard.  So Monday, no biggie teacher workday, I'm home early, plenty of time for pics.  Tuesday, basketball game.... do to the gym, dinner, I leave and don't get home until 9:15 so no time for pictures.   Doing a picture a day is HARD!!!!  Who knew.   I missed a day.....shoot me.  For me, I'm gonna say oh well, I have so many days that I got more than one pic that I love for my album (that I'm planning to put together) so I'm good buttttttttttt..... for the project I feel horrible.  I want to be able to post each day but with our schedule now... not gonna happen.   Anyway....not gonna lie...we skipped a day. Otherwise...just a few things..... Rheagan--I realized today that she has my eye for things  that are "picture perfect".  On the way to school this morning she says to me   "mom, that is so pretty" me: "what Rhea" rhea: "look over there, that bridge and the sun&

It was a busy one--Day 14 and 15

Image
It's been a busy weekend even though it seems like we've spent most of the weekend at home in our PJ's. Rheagan hasn't been 100% so we were trying to take it easy but we've had lots to do.  Here's a break down: On Friday, Nano and Papa came into town.  Rheagan wasn't feeling good and even laid down in the booth at dinner (this is how I knew she was not up to par).  So we called it an early night once we got home. Saturday:  we got up early, took Ryane to get her first haircut and then to the grocery store. This is an awful picture but one of the only ones I got before my camera battery died--way to be prepared mom!!!!  You can see how bad she needed a trim.   After lunch we went up to the school  district Rodeo Art Show. Miss Whimsy's artwork was chosen to be put on display and entered in the district Art contest.  Only 3 kindergarteners from her school were chosen.  We were very proud and so is she--look at that blue ribbon!!! I ca

Day 12 and 13....Oh and Goooooo Texans!!!!

Image
Okay, been super busy this week and I fell asleep with Ryane last night before I got a chance to blog--sometimes you just got to snuggle!!!  Okay Day 12--it was super cold so I put my girls in warm pj's since we keep the heater very low.  Rheagan of course wanted to match little sis so both of my girls ended up in their favorite footie jammies.  We love them!! Day 13--Every morning The Mr. gets up to workout at 5 am.  I get up shortly after he leaves and get myself ready.  Close to 6 I wake up Miss Whimsy and get her dressed.  When the Mr. gets home we brush teeth, fix lunches and get Ready to head out.   Sweet little bliss almost always wakes up right before Rhea and I leave.  Her morning ritual--head to the couch, with monkey(her new favorite thanks to Nammy), BiBi(blanket) and her Paci.  Then it's juice and her shows.  She always kisses and hugs Rheagan goodbye.  It's really sweet.  This girl loves routine--and we stick to it.   One last pic--today wa

My Crazy Life...Day 11

Image
Okay, so not the kids but still a major part of my crazy life.  Years ago pre babies, we had our first baby---miss belle our black and tan mini wiener dog.  Well, we decided she was too lonely so we bought this little guy.  Now he was beautiful, we couldn't resist--black, gray, and tan dapple and so tiny.  He was supposed to be a mini but this big boy is no mini for sure.  When he was about 4 he started having seizures--which by the way are super scary.  So now, he takes medicine every morning to control them and we love our big scardy cat all the same.  He loves being outside.  This is his spot in the backyard.  A perfect place to watch and chase shadows of birds, bugs, and whatever he can find.  He's a momma's boy, loves to snuggle and oh, so sweet.  We love our Jager, or yeah-yeah as my girls call him.

You can never have enough butter!!! My crazy life day 10

Image
Rheagan was such a big helper tonight--she helped me cook dinner, unload the dishwasher, feed the dogs and put away the toys that were scattered in the living room.   Here is my little whimsy making garlic bread all by herself.  She buttered the bread and sprinkled the garlic powder all on her own.  And YES, that is a huge lump of butter on the end of that knife--I did have to remind her to scale it back just a little.  Paula Deen would be proud!!!

More, More, More---My Crazy Life...Day 9

Image
OK, so a little back story on today's picture.  You see, Miss Whimsy, my big girl,  was a really early talker--full understandable sentences by age 1 1/2 to 2.  People couldn't believe how clearly she could speak as a toddler.  But Ryane at 17 months wasn't saying anything more than hi.  No mommy, daddy, anything...needless to say I was stressing a little.  I'm a worry wort so you know I was assuming that we were going to need to go to speech therepy and who knows what else.  Anyway,  a couple of months ago during a visit with Aunt Nati, (the hubby's sister) my little bliss, Ryane  learned how to say "more" using sign language.  Now, I've seen a few people do this with their kids but I never really thought about doing it with my own.   I just assumed it would be something we would have to work on over and over and I really just wanted to focus on enhancing her verbal language.  For my sake, I needed her to speak!!!!!! But, it was crazy--she picked it

Just a Picture today.....

My Crazy Life...Day 7

Image
It was so warm today!!!!  I mangaged to sleep in just a little this morning and then we got up and cleaned house.  This place has been a wreak since Christmas.  Finally got the living room Christmas decorations down.....I know, I know, I was a little late with the take down this year.  I really hate taking the Christmas stuff down--our house is so pretty at Christmas and once it is all down it looks so plain and then I get the urge to redecorate, and we need to paint, and I want new curtains...........maybe I should leave the tree up all year!!   I probably should add that I put up 7 Christmas trees--yes 7, one in every room.  In addition to the trees I decorate the mantel, the stair railing, and change out all the pictures in my livingroom to pictures from past Christmas years.  I go a little overboard but one thing I remember about growing up was that every year at Christmas my mom would transform our house by putting up Christmas decorations everywhere--even in the bathroom.  It ju
