Christmas....The Recap

So Christmas was a whirlwind.  It just came and went so quickly.   This year it seemed like we were all sick.  I was sick for over a week, including christmas eve and day.  Both girls had colds.  My parents were sick....it was everywhere.   We spent lots of time resting and getting better. My pictures aren't great but I felt like garbage.  So here is the recap.


First we had a Christmas party with my Mom's family.  Its a crazy crew.   Great dinner, gifts galore,  kids everywhere, a hayride and one very late night..... a few fun pics from that night.





Rheagan had tons of fun at her school parties too.  Polar Express day on Thursday and her Christmas party on Friday.  Clutch and I stopped by to help and enjoy a little party fun.

Christmas Eve....Every year my family comes over to eat dinner with us on Christmas Eve.  This year  everyone was feeling a little under the weather.  We had dinner, put out reindeer food, made Christmas cookies and quickly got everyone ready for bed.   We didn't spend nearly as much time taking pictures of our traditional matching Christmas PJ's but I got a cute one of the girls being "surprised" by santa!!!

and yes, sleeveless and capris on Christmas day....Texas weather....crazy.






We had a great Christmas.    I love the holidays.   Onto the new year.  I know 2013 will bring so many amazing moments for my family.

To my sweet baby girl--can't believe you just turned 6. Where have these 6 years gone.   I look at you and I can’t believe what a an amazing kid you have become.  You seem so small at times and then you speak and the whole world turns to listen to what my little “big girl” has to say.  You are AMAZING.   You are so smart.  You have learned so much this year.   You can tie your shoes, you love gymnastics, you can read, you have been tested into the GT program at school, your teachers love you, your friends love you, and you are a great student.   We are so proud. This is OUR Life....

In January last year I started a photo project called For the Love.....30 days of photos, 1 photo each day, all black and white.     I love all of the images I got and promised myself I would do them every January, every year.   I actually had an album made from last year's images.   I LOVE IT....  This January, I started out on my FTL project but only got about 4 days in before I decided it wasn't going to work....We had so much rain in January and in February that I had a really hard time getting images.   Plus, with daylight savings time and cloudy skies in the afternoon I had no chance of getting any good light for pictures once I got home from work.    So this year I am changing up my FTL project a little.   I am going to wait and start this project in June---when I am home and can really spend some time on it.  I think I will also mix in some color images.....haven't decided yet....guess we will see in June. What Summer Looks Like.....

So, I've got tons of pictures on my computer from the last few weeks.  Quick post, so I can get these pics up and get on to my post about our vacation---Here is what Summer looks like around the Schneider house. 1. We go to the Children's Museum 2. We Hang Out With Chelsi 3. We Take Naps 4. We paint!!!  (and remodel...pics coming I promise, I just haven't finished decorating after all the mess) 5. We take baths in the pool 6. We Go Out in PawPaw's Boat and yes she is sitting in the cooler--it was full of water so the girls were playing in it.   7. WE PLAY ALOT!!!!!! Today the girls got really quiet so I went to check on them in the playroom.  This is what I found......
