A day at the beach

With Summer winding down we have been trying to get in a few other short family outings.   Last weekend we took the girls to the beach.   Rheagan has been dying to go to the beach and Ryane has never been.   Now Galveston is not my favorite,  normally I won't even get in the water but Rheagan LOVES it.   She just loves the sand and surf, a total beach bum.   We are already planning a trip to a "real beach" with clear water and white sand for next summer's family vacation.   Ryane wasn't in love with the sand and the waves were just to much.   She spent most of her day under the canopy playing with her toys.  It was still a great end of summer day trip.   Chelsi was able to go with us, we really enjoy spending so much time with her in the summer.   Just love her!!!!  She is so good to my girls, they love her so much.   I can't believe the little girl that I met at 5 years old is now 16!!!!!  Time just flies.  A few pics from our day.....




End of the day, cleaning up before going home.....yup, bath in a bucket!!!


Awwww, so sad to see my summer coming to an end!!!

To my sweet baby girl--can't believe you just turned 6. Where have these 6 years gone.   I look at you and I can’t believe what a an amazing kid you have become.  You seem so small at times and then you speak and the whole world turns to listen to what my little “big girl” has to say.  You are AMAZING.   You are so smart.  You have learned so much this year.   You can tie your shoes, you love gymnastics, you can read, you have been tested into the GT program at school, your teachers love you, your friends love you, and you are a great student.   We are so proud. This is OUR Life....

In January last year I started a photo project called For the Love.....30 days of photos, 1 photo each day, all black and white.     I love all of the images I got and promised myself I would do them every January, every year.   I actually had an album made from last year's images.   I LOVE IT....  This January, I started out on my FTL project but only got about 4 days in before I decided it wasn't going to work....We had so much rain in January and in February that I had a really hard time getting images.   Plus, with daylight savings time and cloudy skies in the afternoon I had no chance of getting any good light for pictures once I got home from work.    So this year I am changing up my FTL project a little.   I am going to wait and start this project in June---when I am home and can really spend some time on it.  I think I will also mix in some color images.....haven't decided yet....guess we will see in June. What Summer Looks Like.....

So, I've got tons of pictures on my computer from the last few weeks.  Quick post, so I can get these pics up and get on to my post about our vacation---Here is what Summer looks like around the Schneider house. 1. We go to the Children's Museum 2. We Hang Out With Chelsi 3. We Take Naps 4. We paint!!!  (and remodel...pics coming I promise, I just haven't finished decorating after all the mess) 5. We take baths in the pool 6. We Go Out in PawPaw's Boat and yes she is sitting in the cooler--it was full of water so the girls were playing in it.   7. WE PLAY ALOT!!!!!! Today the girls got really quiet so I went to check on them in the playroom.  This is what I found......
