So here goes nothing....

I've never been good at blogging--even though I aspire to be one of those people that creates amazing entries with wonderful pictures that people check daily to see what fun and exciting things are going on around the S home.  I even tried mixing personal blogs with my work blogs on my photography site---fail!!!  It wasn't until recently that it dawned on me that not only do I take tons of pictures of my kiddos that I never print, send out, post, etc. etc. etc. for myself-----I never share them with all of the people that matter to me most.   I'm always hearing my mom say,  I've never seen that picture before.  I also noticed when I was putting out the christmas decor that I have almost no pictures of my youngest around my house--I've taken them, I said I wouldn't be a mom that doesn't do as much with the second baby--I just haven't done anything with them.  So for my New Year's Resolution here is what I'm planning....

1.  Blog Often--start this family blog, share it with my family and friends,  update it regularly and post pics of the kids and everything I love about my crazy life.  I'm gonna try for 2-3 times per week--setting my goal lower at first, so that I don't get overwhelmed and quit.

2.  Journals--early this year I started a journal for each of my girls and one for myself.  I was doing a good job with them for about a month then, I let it go.  I want to pick them back up.  I'm going to set my goal for adding an entry in each of them once per week.

3. Print and Reorganize family pics around the S home.   I need to give my pics an update, start a new photography wall in my hallway,  and make sure my sweet little bliss has a presence in our home.

4.  Make a goal and to do list and try to get through it.  I've got tons of project ideas floating around in my head,  I need to get them on paper and start makin' it happen people!!!!!

5. Photo Project--For the love.......  (more on that later)

So here goes nothing.......but I'm super excited about it.

Pictures from our trip to the zoo last week--Miss Whimsy took that photo of my hubby and I--pretty good I think!!!!
