This is OUR Life....

In January last year I started a photo project called For the Love.....30 days of photos, 1 photo each day, all black and white.     I love all of the images I got and promised myself I would do them every January, every year.   I actually had an album made from last year's images.   I LOVE IT....  This January, I started out on my FTL project but only got about 4 days in before I decided it wasn't going to work....We had so much rain in January and in February that I had a really hard time getting images.   Plus, with daylight savings time and cloudy skies in the afternoon I had no chance of getting any good light for pictures once I got home from work.    So this year I am changing up my FTL project a little.   I am going to wait and start this project in June---when I am home and can really spend some time on it.  I think I will also mix in some color images.....haven't decided yet....guess we will see in June. Soooo, instead I...

ONE MORE--I CAN'T DECIDE

Okay, after posting--here is one more that I love from today.  This is so my sweet bliss---she loves our phones.  She was feeling sickly today so I love that she's laid up, phone in hand.  It's not part of my photo a day, but I still couldn't resist putting it out there.

Soooo, for months I have wanted to start some kind of "photo a day"  project for myself and my family.   I've looked at several different projects--those with themes, those that are weekly, those that lasted just a month, those with tons of rules and those with no rules at all.  I've just never found one that appealed to me fully.  UNTIL NOW...I have always been a fan of Barb Uil from Jinkyart.com --her work is amazing.  If you've never seen it--check it out.   She has recently publish a wonderful book called FOR THE LOVE, An inspirational Guide and Adventure into photographing your Family.  I bought it as soon as I saw it and I LA, LA, LA, LOVE IT!!!   Aside from tons of great general tips, Barb has challenged readers to a scripted "photo per day" to capture the things we cherish most in life.   Aside from her challenge she also included projects from other photographers.   I read her book cover to cover and had planned to start her 60...
